This professional has used their website to promote their photography business. They have done this by including a carousel of various images they have taken, including diverse people and various ages including children.
The website has 8 pages, they are broken down into home, info which has 4 sub pages which are about, products and pricing, praise and FAQ's. The pages are then broken down into blog, portfolio, vouchers, commercial, weddings and contact. They are layout like this so that looks more professional and doesn't take up a lot of room to distract the viewers from looking at what The design of the website is spread out and not congested so that viewers can clearly see what they are promoting or selling. This photographer uses font colours such as green and black. The black is easier to read from a distance as its darker whereas the green is harder to read. The creator has used simple colours such as black and white so that it is easy to read and see from a distance. What I like about this website is that it's got a clean design which is spread out and allows customers to navigate their way around the website easily. What I don't like about this website is that it doesn't have much colour to attract people to look at the website, it's quite boring and no media or audio was included. On the home page the photographer has included a slideshow of the various pictures they have taken to showcase their work to viewers. It's also the first thing viewers see when they go on the website which attracts them to stay on the website and look at what is being promoted or sold. The only branding this website has is their name and what they do at the top of the page. At the bottom of the page he has included the address of where his business takes place for customers to visit. He has also included his phone number to enquire any questions customers may have. He has also included the links to his social media sites so that viewers/customers can have a look on them and leave feedback. He has also included a snippet of his instagram profile for people to look at which could gain more customers or just some feedback that he could take on board and use to improve his business. He has used a simple font which is easier to read, and a sensible colour that can be read and seen from a distance, it is also a reasonable size to read. He has used a lot of blacks and blues as the font colour as they go well with each other and are easy to read. |
This professional uses their website to promote their animation business. Aardman animations engage audiences with compelling stories told through animation. They have included a carousel of various animations they have created.
What I like about this website is that it shows you the work they have created and it also shows you events they do including workshops on how they create the models around the world. It also shows you the charity's they do and how people can help with fundraising for the various charity's. The colours they have used consistently through out the website are red and white, these colours are easy to read. What I don't like about this website is that it's too clustered with text and pictures, it needs to be more spread out and less congested. They also have a YouTube channel especially for short, original animated comedy. They also have a shop for customers to buy merchandises from their favourite animated stories. The design is very creative as they have included a carousel of the various animations they have created to showcase their work to viewers/customers. The layout of the website is a bit too crowded for my liking but it does show all their animations they have created and what services they offer. The font they have used is similar to their logo which is consistent throughout the website. They have used red as a main colour for the website as their logo is red so it resembles their logo so when customers think of their website they remember red and associate it with their logo. The branding they have used is their logo in the top left corner which appears on every page. The have also included the charity's brands that they help to fundraise for. They have also included buttons at the of the page that illuminate when they are hovered on by the courser, which diverts the viewers/customers to the various companies websites that they have created animations for. The website has used pictures to represent their work to their viewers/customers. They have included videos of their finished animations to show their viewers/customers what kind of animations they created. |
This professional uses their website to promote their cinematic business. Andrew specialises in cinematic street photography and portraiture. They have included a display of the various cinematic pictures and portraits they have done. The website has 9 pages. The pages are broken down into cinematic skills, monochrome, portraits, cityscape, about, video, contact, prints and gear reviews. The website uses a colour scheme of black and white which is easy to read which is good.
What I like about this website is that it's spread out so that the text and images don't look so congested. It also includes audio and video to attract people to the website and promote their business. What I don't like about this website is that it's plain, it needs some colour to attract customers to the website and business. What I also don't like about the website is that it doesn't include any prices on how much the pictures and portraits cost. The design of the website is simple but effective as it showcases the photographers work for the viewers/customers to view his work. I like that some of the photographs have a black border around it which gives a old film vibe. The layout of the website it nice as it showcases the work in a neat way as well as giving information on the photographer and what types of photo's he takes. He has used a simple font which is easy to read, and a sensible colour that can be read and seen from a distance, it is also a reasonable size to read. He has used the theme of a white background with black text, so that it can be read easily. The branding they have used is their name and what type of photographs they take in the top right corner of each page. They haven't included any social media links for viewers/customers to look at and leave feedback for the photographer. |
